Freedom of Movement
Being attached to the wrist, the Arc Jet OMC allows both hands to be free during navigation. It is particularly appreciated by MTB orienteers and adventure runners worldwide, as it offers the same speed and performance as thumb compasses, but allows navigation during activities such as cycling and kayaking. Similar to a watch, it can be worn on either the left or right wrist, depending on personal preference.
Comfort and Stability
The straps are easy to adjust and are rubberized on the inside to ensure a great grip, ensuring that the compass stays in place and fits comfortably on the hand.
Spectra Speed Dial System
The Arc Jet OMC features an updated and cleaner version of the original Silva Spectra system, developed to simplify navigation. The Spectra dial consists of reference markings and numbers on the capsule. Just memorize the number the needle points to after completing step 2 of the Silva 1-2-3 system, and the sight line will guide you in the right direction as long as the needle remains on that number.
