The Silva Spike Jet Classic is a high-precision compass designed for orienteering experts. Equipped with a rotating case featuring 360° markings and extended orientation lines on the base plate, it offers three different interchangeable scale sliders.
The base plate includes a removable scale slider that allows for precise measurement of the distance between two points on the map, facilitating race planning. By removing the slider, you gain increased transparency and visibility of the map. With the Spike Jet, you have 3 separate scale sliders that can be flipped, providing a total of 6 different scales to choose from: 1:40k, 1:7.5k, 1:10k, 1:15k, 1:3k, 1:4k. The stencil holes for start and control markings are ideal for creating your own orienteering race.
Like all other Arc Jet and Spike Jet compasses, this model features the new Jet 2.0 needle, which offers unparalleled stability and world-class performance in needle settling time.
