Designed for easy handling, this compass features a stable and easy-to-read needle. The red/black north-south lines on the bottom of the capsule ensure simple and secure orientation. The base with a curved rear end is equipped with a magnifying lens for precision work on maps, as well as stencil holes for star markings and checks at the front.
The sliding scale at the tip of the compass is detachable, while the included lanyard with scale makes it easy to quickly assess the distances of your route or plan ahead.
