The Giro Insurgent Spherical is designed to provide maximum protection, comfort, and ventilation, making it ideal for competitions such as the Enduro World Series and the Red Bull Rampage. This innovative helmet features an advanced ventilation system, with front intake points and rear exhaust openings connected by internal channels for optimal airflow.
The internal padding made of antibacterial IONIC material is lightweight and soft, designed to absorb sweat and keep it away from the eyes. Each helmet comes with different thickness cheek pads for a customizable fit and a directional snap-fit system for increased safety in case of an accident.
Weighing only 1040 g (size M/L), the helmet is 200 g lighter than the previous model, the Giro Disciple Mips, while still including the advanced Spherical Technology developed in collaboration with MIPS. This technology uses layers of polystyrene foam to redirect impact energy, ensuring optimal protection.
