XC90 Carbon Steel

Opinel carbon steel is a non-alloy steel with a high carbon content. This material ensures excellent hardness due to heat treatment, providing perfect edge retention, high wear resistance, and easy re-sharpening. However, it is important to take precautions to avoid corrosion: do not leave the knife in humid environments, especially in dishwashers, and clean the blade with an oiled cloth after use, frequently oiling the joint as well.
