Technical Features of the Giant Knife N. 13
- Blade Length: 22 cm
- Blade Material: Martensitic stainless steel with a hardness of 55-57 HRC, European origin. This steel ensures high corrosion resistance and excellent mechanical performance. The blade offers outstanding sharpness and abrasion resistance, ideal for prolonged use.
- Blade Type: Yatagan, inspired by a Turkish sword with an elevated tip. The blade is milled with a unique curved profile for strength and easy re-sharpening.
- Handle: Made of beech, the most commonly used wood for Opinel handles. Sourced from French plantations, it is hard, durable, and easy to work with. The handle is varnished for protection against dirt and moisture.
- Safety Ring: Virobloc, invented in 1955, present on all folding knives starting from N°06. It allows you to lock the blade in an open or closed position for safe use and transport.
- Handle Length: 27.5 cm
