Discover the My First Opinel Fuchsia, the ideal companion for woodland excursions and small craft projects. This knife is specially designed for children, featuring an 8 cm rounded blade and a fuchsia handle with a protective stain-resistant and moisture-resistant coating.
The knife is equipped with the Virobloc safety system, which allows you to lock the blade in either the open or closed position, ensuring safety during use and transport. A great childhood keepsake, the knife is also customizable.
Technical Features
- Blade Length: 8 cm
- Martensitic Stainless Steel: Hardness 55-57 HRC, European origin. The stainless steel used in OPINEL blades is optimized to ensure high corrosion resistance and excellent mechanical performance. The blade offers outstanding sharpness and abrasion resistance.
- Rounded Tip Blade: The rounded tip provides greater safety during use and is ideal for spreading.
- Handle: Made from hornbeam sourced from French companies, it is a white wood with few grains, perfect for applying colors without altering them. The handle is painted for protection against dirt and moisture.
- Safety Ring: Invented in 1955 by Marcel Opinel, the Virobloc safety ring is present on all folding knives starting from No. 06. It allows you to lock the blade in either the open or closed position for added safety.
