- Martensitic stainless steel: Hardness 55-57 HRC, European origin. The stainless steel used in OPINEL blades ensures high corrosion resistance and excellent mechanical performance. The blade offers outstanding sharpness and abrasion resistance, requiring minimal maintenance under normal use conditions.
- Handle: Made from chestnut wood, known for its beauty, light and uniform tone, and strong durability over time.
- Handle Length: 10 cm
- Safety Ring: Invented in 1955 by Marcel Opinel, the Virobloc safety ring is present on all folding knives starting from N°06. It allows you to lock the blade in the open position for safe use and in the closed position for safe transport.
