Technical Features
- Blade Length: 10 cm
- Martensitic Stainless Steel: Hardness 55-57 HRC, European origin. The stainless steel used in Opinel blades is optimized to ensure corrosion resistance and high mechanical performance. The blade has excellent sharpness and abrasion resistance.
- Yatagan Blade: The traditional Opinel blade, inspired by a Turkish sword, with a unique curved profile for strength and easy re-sharpening.
- Handle: Made from beechwood, the most commonly used wood for Opinel handles, sourced from French plantations. It is hard, durable, and easy to work with, featuring a uniform appearance and a color that ranges from yellow to pink.
- Handle Length: 13 cm
- Virobloc Safety Ring: Invented in 1955, it is present on all folding knives starting from N°06. It allows the blade to be locked in either the open or closed position for added safety.
